a pretty fun day/night.

woke up to quiznos, thanks mom. then played some knockout at austin which was fun. got to flaunt my bball skills, haha. then delish taco bell and to frys where i laughed so hard at alittle girl i was pretty much crying.

later to asiana where the fun began haha we got soup (lauren and i) and it was hte messiest meal ever. i spit take-d two times then lauren effin dominated spit takes and spit noodles all over our booth, hair, faces, and the booth behind us.

like this was such a massive spit take that our waiter saw and brought up extra napkins haha
skilllll. then i like a champ was hugging lauren and managed to fall off the curb ONTO the car next to us WITH the woman in it hahaha i tired and apologized but it looked like i was so drunk i could balrey walk and flailing my arms(in apology) and babbling didnt really help. haha

finished the night with wedding crashers for the 3rd time. pretty decent.

overall a good sunday

wow. ACL was amazing.

friday- friday we left late and missed everything at ACL so we went to Emo's and and saw MATES OF STATE and the double. it was awesome cause we missed mates of state at ACL but still got to see them made me sooooo happy. Emo's was also an ackward adventure, we decided to go sit on these bleachers things and we had to shove by this guy. So later this guy was talking to me and his name was JP, to give you an idea of what he was liike...he had long scraggly hair in a pony tail, glasses, maybe mid 20's, high khaki shorts, IN A MASSIVE WEDGIE( which he clearing picked everytime he stood up) and to top it off and IBM ID badge clipped on his pants....great. this guy would not leave me alone! ahh! luckily mr.m called and was like "is this freak show bothering you?" haha so i went and got some water then made moe and chris sit on both sides of me the rest of the night so hed leave me alone. weirdo.

and an ackward time trying to go to sleep! thanks andrew and lauren

saturday- the first day of ACL. effing hot!!!!  we saw death cab for cutie, and ended the day with the awesome bloc party. One of the best shows ive seen. then we finished the day with STEAK. yum. it was delish.

sunday- the last day of ACL. we started off seeing eisley which was pretty cool, but then we went to SOCO! the shopping love of my heart. i got a cool shirt and some new shoes and such. we had a nice talk with the guy at Amy'y ice cream then back to ACL. we saw the bravery which was pretty nice too but then we stood and waited for the arcade fire. it was amazing. it was SOOOOO good. they started with playing "wake up." there's nothing in the world like hearing thousands of people sing in unison to one song. but the best was when they started "neighborhood #1" i got goosebumps. but you dont understand because it was 108 degrees burning in the sun, sweat dripping down your face just standing there, and i got goosebumps like you would if you wore a swimsuit into a pile of snow in december. it was awesome. i loved every second of it. then we went to go see wilco. which created problems. no one would go with me even though i felt like #### and was about to collapse on the ground and all i wanted was to see wilco. but because it was too "boring" i ended up walking into to 30,000 people to see wilco.. alone. the lowest feeling. but then i saw derek and jill! yay!!! they were super nice and even though derek was dieing to see franz ferdinand thye went with me so i could jsut hear like 4 songs. it was good but couldve been better.

so now to the big finale. COLDPLAY. it was aaaweosme, they played "yellow" and i seriously meeeelted, but oOOOOMG the dust was sooo bad i couldnt breathe if i laid down and eventually ended up breathing trhough my shirt. and after an awesome performance then ended...but then they came back and their encore was "fix you"...thats my favorite song and it means so much to me personally, it was the cherry topping on my night. it was beautiful

and thats how the aweosme ACL festival ended. couldnt have been better.

then i found my sunburn..EEP! but its all worth it, even if i have to sneeze out dirt for another week or two.

i loved it.
